As even a brake caliper bracket, with proper engineering, can be lightened!

Another view of the front bracket. The rear brackets, for 4 piston calipers, albeit smaller, are also appropriately treated.

What wheels are you going to use on your car?

I have been out on the road with TLC's Alpina, and have to admit the 20" rim has really grown on me. Parked side by side the Z8 standard wheel just looks rather small and dull. I think the 20" does looks better on the car, but I don't love the Alpina spoke design.

Will use the Alpina. If there was demand (i.e., at least 5 sets -- 20 wheels), it might be worth making a one-piece forged magnesium wheel (pressure shim, by the way, is titanium).

they will be a little tougher for street use, and they are now available in 20"
