I've been having trouble with the tire pressure monitoring system in that I cannot get the red indicator to go out. Upon bringing the car to service they noticed that the front tires had significant inside edge wear at 6,500 miles. I replaced the tires. The service manager suggested an alignment indicating that the wear was not normal. After research I found the front is set up with negative camber and chalked the wear up to it and not alignment. Thoughts on this?
I have checked for shock tower damage and have found none. My panel seams seem pretty normal with the slight exception that the passenger door-front fender seam is closer at the top of the car (near the hood) as compared to the driver side.
Havent had time to bring in for an alignment yet. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
PS still can't get the tire pressure light to go out after 3 visits..
Thx eman
