Michael went with 19" HRE wheels, and the full Brembo kit.
"I am a firm beliver in getting wider rubber under the fenders. The more contact patch the better the car sticks to the road. Obviously drag is increased but the fender will limit to what extent this will occur. The wheel I use is HRE's 547 3 piece forged wheel. It is much lighter (and stronger) than stock. The following are the sizes I used. No modifications were needed to fit under my mildly lowered car.
FRONT 19x9 with P255 35ZR 19 Yokohama AVS
REAR 19x10 with P295 30ZR 19 Yokohama AVS
The biggest improvements were adhesion (Way less understeer, incredible grip on hard cornering) and smoothness of ride on the street. No noticable increase in tracking road imperfections."
